Horses For Sale

Paddington Bear

Paddington is a 6 year old, bay gelding, 16.1 draft cross. He came to us late fall of his 3 year old year. He was squirrelly and untrusting. After much slow work and tender loving care, he has finally come around. At the moment I don’t feel Paddington will make a good school horse, I think he would be an excellent one person, or family kinda guy. Once he gets to know you life is great. He is very comfortable and has a nice canter for a draft. Paddington has been schooled in the ring and cross country, he has been trail ridden extensively. He has shown in all the fall Hunter Trials, won the Master’s Class at one of the Hunter Trials in Fall of 08! He has done all the Hunter Paces, Paper Chases over Fences in the spring of 09, he was a lead and follow horse. He also has schooled Fair Hill Cross Country Course through Novice. He competed in a few Hunter and Jumper Shows as well. Paddington is still green but has a great start on him and ready to continue in his life. He is good to the jumps and willing to take on whatever comes around the next corner. He trailers and vans, alone or in company. He is good for the vet and farrier, he socializes well with others. He has been extremely sound and healthy guy while in our care. We would love for Paddington to find a long term new owner to allow him to excel in life. $6500.00

Daisey

14.0 hd chestnut pony 14 years old crossbred. Daisey has been with us for 2 years now. She is a trooper, she is an easy keeper, lives out on grass! She w/t/c and jumps around willingly 2’6” with a total passenger, if you ride a little she will march around the 2’9”. Daisey trail rides and works well in the ring. We have shown her and competed in Hunter Trials and Paper Chases, as well as the Horse Show Ring. She is safe and comfortable. She is a very trusting child’s pony. Daisey will not Fox Hunt or Pony Race. She is cute, easy to work with, gets along well with others, great disposition, no mare issues at all. $4500.00

Flare

16.2 Bay tb mare foaled 2003 with medium body build. Flare has a great stride and movement; she can get down the lines easily and has a good lead change in both directions. Flare has done several Hunter and Paper Chases, as well several Hunter Trials. Flare has a great jump and can jump a big fence, even though she is still green. She is very comfortable to ride. Flare is currently in our school program being ridden by novice juniors and ladies. The ladies especially enjoy her. She moves forward freely and has lots of neck in front of her, which is a comfort to them. Flare has shipped around to several cross country courses and schooled elementary through training. She has done the water, ditches and banks. Ditches were the hardest for her but she has come to motor over them now. Flare is a mare on the ground, she will have the mare moods on the ground, but she is all business to ride. She is not difficult to deal with. Flare is ready for a career. $4000.00

K is a 17 hd tb gelding. He is privately owned and owner has little time for him, He is available to lease 2-5 days a week at Tranquillity Manor Farms. K will w/t/c and has had lots of flat work, he is great over fences and marches around the 2'6"-3' with ease. He has a lead change and plenty of stride to get down the lines. K is honest to the jumps in the ring and out. K has a small motor, just because of his stride! K is enjoyable to ride in the ring, he is abit more horse hacking out but after a hack in the ring he is much better, he prefers to hack out alone. Owner might consider an off farm lease.
